    I learned something today about this run. I learned I have to relax and I learned that in order to relax I had to loosen my shoulders and splay my toes in my shoes. The Altra's are wide toed shoes which makes splaying the toes very easy. When I relaxed my HR was staying constant in Z2 and my cadence was in the high 169-170's. Wasn't worried about speed, just want to get my running fitness more in tune in the early base phase. Still a lot of miles to go.
